Govt sets 30% export duty on sunflower, rape seeds from Jan 9
MOSCOW, Dec 10 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has introduced a 30% export duty on sunflower and rape seeds from January 1 until June 30, according to an order signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Thursday.
"The export duty on the seeds of sunflower and rape was raised to 30% of the customs value of exported products, its lowest bracket is 165 euros per 1,000 kilograms… The measure is introduced from January 9 until June 30, 2021," the government said.
The measure will be applied to exports outside the Customs Union.
